1. Officer personnel for higher education degrees: bachelor, master:

civilian youth and military servicemen are accepted on the basis of complete general secondary education;

form of education – full-time;

terms of education – 4 years for bachelor's degree, 1,5 for master's degree. Period of your study is included in the total length of service;

study is provided at the expense of the state budget.

2. Military servicemen (who do not have the rank of officer) in bachelor's degree specialties:

military personnel of military service under the contract are accepted on the basis of complete general secondary education;

form of education – extramural;

terms of education – 4 years;

study is provided at the expense of the state budget.

3. Ukrainian citizens from among civilian youth and military servicemen under the reserve officer training program:

military personnel of military service under the contract, students of higher education establishments and other Ukrainian citizens who have or are receiving higher education are accepted;

form of education – extramural;

terms of education – 2 years;

study is provided at the expense of the state budget, as well as at the expense of individuals or legal entities.

Structural divisions of the Institute

The institute consists of: 3 faculties (9 departments), 6 combined arms departments, the Scientific Center, the NCO Military College, retraining and refresher courses:

The Institute employs highly qualified academic staff, including 2 Honored Science and Technology Figures of Ukraine; 1 Honored Education Worker of Ukraine; 1 Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine; 1 Academician of the branch academy, 15 doctors of sciences, 12 professors, 61 candidates of sciences, 48 associate professors and senior researchers.

The military Institute has created all the necessary conditions for the realization of the teaching and educational process in accordance with the needs of modernity: 110 of lecture, training, laboratory, specialized classrooms, computer laboratories, and other classes; an educational and training complex for working out of issues of practical training of cadets on means of communication and automated command and control system; a shooting range; 4 sports and gyms; 2 sports grounds, a sports town for strength training; an obstacle course.

Graduates of the Institute receive a state diploma and the primary officer rank of lieutenant. Graduate officers are sent for further military service to units and subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations of the state.

Graduates of the NCO Military College receive a diploma of a junior specialist of the state standard and the rank of non-commissioned officer. Graduates are sent for further military service to units and subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations of the state, and can also continue their studies at the Military Institute in related specialties to obtain higher education and the military rank of lieutenant.

The Scientific Center for Communications and Information Technologies is tasked with planning, organizing and direct implementation of all types and forms of scientific and scientific-technical activities on the problems of military science to order (under contracts, operational tasks) state executive bodies, structural units of the central office of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and types of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, local government bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations. The main activity of SCCIT of MITIT is the implementation of research and development, testing of operational statements, scientific support and implementation of the results of research and development.

The retraining and refresher courses are located on the territory of the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies and are separate military units, which subordinates to the head of the Institute. Courses are taught both theoretically in classrooms at the departments of the Institute, where the latest means of communication are studied, and in the field conditions. Students of the courses under the guidance of officers who have repeatedly been in eastern Ukraine, and have taken part in the Anti-Terrorist Operation, master the organization of life activity in the field conditions and work out standards for working on military communications, standards for fire and engineering training.
