The Department of Military Training of the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies trains citizens of Ukraine under the program of training of Reserve Officers at the expense of the state budget and at the expense of individuals for the Main Communications and Information Systems Directorate, Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 7 military occupational specialties:
The level of training of scientific and pedagogical employees, the state of weapons and military equipment, educational and material base allow to form personalities of a military specialist of the highest level, able to use military equipment in difficult conditions of modern war; the development of engineering thinking and research qualities, skills and competences to work as part of a group, command subordinates during the operation and combat use of equipment and weapons.
Applicants for higher education (including women) can take military training, regardless of the form of study in higher educational institutions, and citizens of Ukraine who have an educational degree of higher education not lower than a bachelor's degree, if they are under 40 years old at the beginning of military training.
Training of citizens of Ukraine is carried out by the method of “Military day” without leaving the main place of study, work for 2 years, after successful completion of competitive selection in 7 military occupational specialties.
Upon completion of training, graduates are awarded the military rank of – Junior Lieutenant of the Reserve" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
