Faculty of Telecommunication Systems

The Faculty of Telecommunication Systems of the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies named after Heroes of Kruty is one of the main organizational and educational and scientific structural divisions of the Institute, which unites departments and divisions of cadets.

The main goal of the Faculty is to provide the conditions necessary for the implementation of educational activities that meet the standards of higher education and provides training, according to the state order, of highly qualified military specialists at the higher education levels of the first (Bachelor's) level, second (Master's) level and specialists of extramural form of study from among contract military personnel.

THE FACULTY CONSISTS OF 3 DEPARTMENTS ORGANIZATIONALLY:

Department of "TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS"

It is intended for theoretical and practical training of officers who are capable of introducing the latest telecommunications technologies in the activities of military command and control organizations.

Department of "INFORMATION SECURITY IN TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS"

It is intended for theoretical and practical training of military specialists for the application of modern information security facilities in information and telecommunication systems and networks.

Department of "СONSTRUCTION OF TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS"

The department trains cadets of the Institute in fundamental disciplines on the construction, functioning and maintenance of modern information and telecommunications systems in all specialties.

EDUCATIONAL AND MATERIAL BASE

EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES

The main task of the Faculty is to carry out educational activities that meet the standard of higher education, and provide training in accordance with the state order of highly qualified military specialists.

Educational activity is implemented in the form of an educational process. It includes educational, methodological work and scientific, scientific and technical activities.

The main type of educational activity is educational work. It includes the activities of the command of the faculty and its structural divisions, scientific and pedagogical and other employees on the following issues: training in the specialty of cadets; organization and scientific and methodological support of all forms (types) of training sessions, independent work, practical training; improving the content of training taking into account modern achievements of science, technique, technologies, as well as the experience of conducting an Anti-Terrorist Operation in the East of the country; conducting diagnostics of training results, education and development of cadets; their certification and quality management of the educational process.

The faculty has a powerful scientific and pedagogical potential, a modern educational and material base, computer and specialized classes. Lecture halls are equipped with the latest telecommunications equipment and communication facilities. Among the cadets of the faculty there are named fellows of awards of the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and winners of competitions of scientific works in various fields of knowledge.

The faculty has organized work:

training of military scientific society (MSS) of cadets;

preparation of adjuncts for the thesis defence.

The faculty takes an active part in inventive and innovative work, representatives from the faculty take part in international exercises.

Military personnel studying at the faculty have the status of a cadet and receive cash security. Cadets who study for "good" and "excellent" are awarded with increased cash security. Upon completion of their studies, graduates of the faculty receive a state-recognized degree, the primary officer rank "lieutenant" and mandatory (guaranteed by the state order) appointment to the primary officer position.

The Faculty has created all conditions for comprehensive personal development. Cadets constantly visit theaters, cinemas, art galleries, museums, monuments of national historical and cultural heritage.

PHYSICAL TRAINING AND SPORT

Special attention is paid to the development of physical training and sports. The military staff of the faculty has the opportunity to attend various sports sections, clubs and a swimming pool.
