Expanding the borders: the Memorandum of Understanding between Kruty Heroes MITIT and Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy was signed

The delegation of the Kruty Heroes Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology lead by the Head of the Institute Major General Viktor Ostapchuk conducted a working visit to the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy (Varna, Bulgaria).

The purpose of the meeting was to establish cooperation in the fields of training military specialists and cybersecurity, as well as to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the educational institutions.

From now on, both institutions will hold joint educational events, exchange experience, and work on joint research projects, publications, and conferences. The document also provides for the exchange of scientific and pedagogical personnel, mutual cultural and technical support. Both Parties also reached an agreement to exchange invitations to events such as seminars, symposia and ceremonies, as well as assist in advancing common missions and tasks.

Rear Admiral, Doctor of Military Sciences and Professor Boyan Mednikarov, who heads the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, warmly welcomed his Ukrainian colleagues at the educational institution subordinate to him. Representatives of the Ukrainian delegation had a distinctive opportunity to observe and assess the educational and material base of the Academy, that introduces new prospects for the exchange of experience and knowledge between Ukrainian and Bulgarian colleagues.

The Memorandum of Understanding between Kruty Heroes Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology and Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy opens a new chapter in military cooperation between Ukraine and Bulgaria. This strategic partnership is marked not only by the exchange of knowledge and research, but also underlines the importance of joint training of military personnel to address the paramount challenges in the field of national security. This cooperation will contribute to the reform of the Institute in accordance with NATO standards.
