Intensive course at the Regional Cyber Defense Center under the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania

Knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity are now more important than ever before, especially for Ukrainian military servicemen. That is why attendees of the Master's degree programme of the Kruty Heroes Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology have successfully completed an intensive course at the Regional Cyber Defense Center under the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania.

This course was created by joint efforts of the NATO-Ukraine Professional Development Programme and the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine within the framework of the revised Comprehensive Assistance Package for Ukraine.

During the one-month course in the format of an internship, military servicewomen received theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, in particular on cyber threats, cyber intelligence, offensive and defensive operations in the digital space. Instructors and experts from Lithuania provided not only knowledge, but also experience of real cyber operations. This invaluable opportunity to learn in practice has improved the practical skills of Ukrainian attendees.
