Exchange of experience with NATO representatives on improving control and communications systems

On September 9, the NATO CIS Operational Planning Course was started at the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies named after Heroes of Kruty as part of the implementation of the tasks of the NATO Trust Fund to improve the command, control, communications and information exchange systems.

It is expected that representatives of NATO communications and information experts, within four days, as part of the project teams will be conducting classes with the representatives of the security and defense sector of Ukraine, the communications forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies on the Course on operational planning of communications and information systems of NATO and familiarizing them with the Alliance's requirements for implementing NATO standards and procedures in military communications planning. They will exchange experience in creating an effective management system for the security and defense sector, building secure information and telecommunications networks, regulatory and technical issues of forming a system of situational centers, raising the level of situational awareness of command and operational staff of command points, creating effective organizational structures (NATO J-code) according to NATO standards and procedures.
